Earthing and Low-Resistance Measuring

Insulation Measurement

Low Resistance Measurement

The METRALINE RLO-CHECK is a test instrument for checking the continuity of protective conductors and equipotential bonding.

With the help of the acoustic and luminous signals generated by the test instrument, the user determines whether or not the continuity of the protective conductor and equipotential bonding has an electrical resistance of no greater than 1 Ω.

C.A 6472

Tester for all types of earth measurements, including pylon earth measurements (with the C.A 6474) - soil resistivity - earth coupling - ground potential - continuity & resistance, the C.A 6472 can be used for quick, comprehensive surveys of all earthing configurations, offering all the necessary earth measurement functions in a single instrument.


C.A 6474

When used with the C.A 6472, the C.A 6474 allows the following types of measurements:

  • Global earth of pylons

  • Earth resistance of each of the pylon's footings

  • Quality of the overhead protective earth cable connection

  • Active measurement (injection by the C.A 6472)

  • Passive measurement (use of stray currents)


C.A 6417

The C.A 6417 earth clamps, delivered in a carrying case, are ideal for quick earth-loop resistance measurements. 600V CAT IV, they display the earth voltage with a dangerous voltage alarm and provide additional safety during measurement.


C.A 6681

The TR-MARK III 250V is the successor of the famous TR-MARK III. Besides an extended test voltage up to 250V, it offers new features and increased accuracy to make it a perfect system



(Winding Resistance Meter)

Raytech's Digital Winding Resistance meter WR14 is the battery powered version winding resistance system with a most advanced demagnetizing circuit. It is designed for high degree of accuracy measurement of very low resistance of any inductive loads.



Micro Ohm Meter 

Raytech Digital Micro ohm meter, Micro-Centurion II, was designed for high degree of accuracy to measure very low resistances. This technology was then packed into a portable test system to be used by apparatus manufacturers, rebuild shops, and electrical maintenance crews.


CT-T1 Current Transformer Tester

The CT-T1 is a microprocessor-based Current Transformer Tester that measures CT excitation current, turns ratio, and winding polarity tests, all without having to switch the leads during testing.

Hipot Function Testers

The HTT-1 was designed to provide a fast, safe and reliable way to verify proper operation of Dielectric Withstand (hipot) and Ground Continuity Testers between calibration cycles. It allows the operator to check the result of the three failure modes encountered in production hipot and ground circuit testing (open ground, high leakage current, and dielectric breakdown) separately or in any combination to verify proper test equipment operation



Hipot Testers

The newest product of our Hipot Line Testers, the UL Listed HT-S series hipot now comes with an adjustable ground continuity test in range of 0.08 - 1.50 Ω, and Auto-offset for test leads up to 1.00 Ω. Performs 0-2000 AC Hipot Test. Neutral/Hot to Ground Leakage current test up to 20 mA AC.


Capacitive Discharge Testers

For IEC Testing of residual voltage after plug disconnect.  The CDT-240 V2 disconnects the line at the voltage peak and analyzes results to the requirements of various Standards, allowing quick results. Recommendations for Pluggable Type B equipment.  NIST calibration supplied; A2LA calibration available.  15A option for testing large equipment.



Surge/Impulse Testers

This is an IEC 60601 Defibrillation-proof tester.  For the Energy Reduction test, joules consumed in the 100Ω resistor are immediately displayed after each pulse. The MegaPulse D5-PF tests protection against the effects of defibrillation (Common Mode, Differential Mode) and Energy reduction test (EC-13) and as noted in the Standards.
