Insulation Meter
Function and Purpose:
-Insulation testers evaluate the quality of electrical insulation by applying a high voltage (typically 250V, 500V, or 1000V) to the component being tested.
-The meter measures the resistance between conductors (such as wires or cables) and the surrounding insulation material (such as rubber, plastic, or ceramic).
-High insulation resistance ensures safe operation and prevents leakage currents or short circuits.

Position Indicator / Semaphore
A position indicator (also known as a semaphore position indicator) is a device used to visually represent the position of a component or switch in an electrical system.
It provides real-time feedback on whether a circuit breaker, isolator, or other switching device is in the open or closed position.
The indicator typically uses a needle or other visual element to display the status. These indicators are crucial for monitoring and ensuring proper operation in control rooms, relay panels, and power distribution systems.
How It Works:
When the circuit breaker or isolator is closed, the indicator needle bridges the gap between lines, providing continuity in the mimic diagram.
Conversely, when the circuit breaker or isolator is open, the needle tilts or positions itself away from the lines, indicating the open state.
